Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Kay Labs, the India-based operator of UseSQLite.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, be legally able to enter this agreement, protect your credentials and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and API keys.

The service

UseSQLite provides hosted SQLite databases, management tools, APIs, backups and related features. We may improve or change the service over time. Beta or preview features may change or be discontinued.

Your content

You retain ownership of your databases and other content. You grant Kay Labs the limited rights needed to host, copy, back up, transmit and process that content to operate and support UseSQLite. You are responsible for lawful content and for exporting critical data when appropriate.

Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, providers, the public or the service.

Trials, fees and storage

The paid plan is US $5 per month for up to 3 GB of total account storage and unlimited databases within that limit, unless checkout clearly shows another price. Taxes may apply. Dodo Payments acts as the payment provider or merchant of record shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time and retain paid access through the current billing period. Refund eligibility and the process for charge questions are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Availability and backups

We aim to operate a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Backups are a recovery feature, not a substitute for your own exports of critical data. Planned maintenance, provider outages and events outside our reasonable control may affect service.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, non-payment or legal necessity. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to export data.

Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without implied warranties. Kay Labs is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability relating to the service is limited to fees you paid during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the dispute. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms with a revised effective date. When a change materially affects existing customers, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
