Privacy Policy

Kay Labs operates UseSQLite from India. This policy explains what personal data we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name and email address; authentication, session and security records; database names and service metadata; API-key metadata; usage, support and diagnostic information; and billing status. Dodo Payments handles payment-card details, and UseSQLite does not store full card details.

Your database content

We store and process the SQLite databases and backups you create or upload solely to provide, secure, maintain and support the service. You retain ownership of your content and are responsible for having the right to process it.

Why we use information

• Perform our contract by providing authentication, database hosting, backups, support and billing.
• Protect accounts, investigate abuse and keep the service reliable.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting and security obligations.
• Send transactional messages such as confirmations, password recovery and important service notices.
• Improve product functionality using aggregated service and diagnostic information.

Providers and international processing

We use Fly.io for API and SQLite hosting, Supabase for account data and authentication, Vercel for web hosting, Resend for transactional email, Tigris for encrypted off-site backups, and Dodo Payments for billing. These providers may process data outside India under their applicable contractual and security safeguards.

Cookies and local storage

The dashboard uses strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for authentication, security and interface preferences. We do not currently use advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

Retention and deletion

We retain personal data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Customer-database retention after cancellation or trial expiry follows the periods displayed in the product and Terms. Backup copies expire on operational schedules and may not disappear immediately from every recovery copy. You may request account deletion.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, hashed credentials, private backup storage and operational safeguards. No internet service is completely secure. See our Security page for responsible reporting.

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, completion, export or erasure of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a grievance. We do not sell personal data. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Children

UseSQLite is a developer service and is not directed to children. Do not create an account if you are not legally able to agree to the Terms. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data unlawfully.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product or law changes. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service.
